Anyone want parts if I cant get it fixed? I was watchign a school event, and when I left, I had my adreneline up. I floored it in the parking lot, drifted around a curve, spun out, hit ice, rammed into a liberty, and pushed it over a slope, and crashed into a pole................. Damage: Major. Hood bent (I like that design nissan), no airbags (woot), bumper split in two, lip split in two, drivers headlight broken (fuk glass), grill split, rad support minorly bent, both fenders bent. Damage: im guess around $5000.

first.

i could feel it coming man. im not going to be a condescending prick, everyone has their first wrecks and when youre that age its probably from driving recklessly. so did you get a ticket? your insurance covering the liberty? how much damage was done to the other car?

just part it out, wait a couple years before you buy another car. by then you should be able to appreciate it better.

Well great, because I am gonna be a condescending prick. I think he deserves it now.

You know you can't drift an automatic, yet you did it anyway. Also doing that kind of crap in a public area was just plain stupid. WHY do we keep saying "keep it on the track"? O YEAH, because of dumb stuff like this.

I don't know if I'd go that far as saying he fails at life. The adrenaline excuse is bull. I'm thankful he didn't hurt anyone, and I feel really bad for the owner of the Liberty who's probably going to lose money if the insurance company totals it, for simply parking in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Nala, what did your parents do to you?

No! We don't!!!

I can say for sure that pretty much all of us have not ever intentionally tried to do something dumb like that and ended up with such failed results.

Fail X3 for this one.

Fail for wrecking the car like an idiot.

Fail for a link that doesn't actually lead to your other thread.

Ultimate Fail for not posting any pictures of said wreck.

If I walked out to my ride and saw that some dumb *** had wrecked it because he wanted to show off, even dental records wouldn't be able to identify your body.

You were lucky no one was in that Liberty. Imagine the injuries if it had a family with small kids in the back seats. Imagine the lawsuit if you had not seen someone and ran them over.

sit back now and watch your insurance skyrocket

thought he just spun out and hit a lightpole..missed the part where he hit another car...

why were you attempting said "drift" in a stock automatic j30 anyway?

can j30s even drift? (hint.. sarcasm)

I can drift an auto. I have proof.

To Nala.

Are you ok? Sounds like there was a lot of damage. I hope all parties involved are safe. TBH about it, you are f'd because you hit another car. Good luck sorting this out. I'm not going to lecture you because you're going to learn far more about responsibility the next couple weeks.

It would be hard to post people, but you are right it is hard. The trick is to be a half crazy redneck who grew up driving auto V8s. I have in the rain even drifted an auto 1st gen Pathfinder. God I love the VG. Such a great motor for how small it is.
