nissan hardbody z24 to ka24e swap. ????

I have a 1987 nissan hardbody 4 wheel drive with a nissan z24 engine. I turbo charged it for a little more jam but now the motor blew. I have another nissan hardbody with a ka24e engine in it and am wanting to do a swap. Will it be easy? I know a little later they started putting the ka24e into the hardbody 4 wheel drives so I think it should all just slip in. If anyone has some info about this please let me know..Will i have to do wiring? will the engine bolt to the transmission..?

it's a pretty robust engine.

not as nice as a 12v KA though.

I can't remember for sure, but I think the KA and transmission will bolt right up.

I'd suggest finding a donor truck in a junkyard to snag the engine harness from.

are you still working on this one or did you finish it? i know that this is old but just wondering. i did a z24 ka24e swap on my 1984 nissan 720 and it bolted right in. to motor mounts and transmission. easy swap.

hello, i have a 87 hardbody, the z24 in mine is running pretty crappy, but i have a ka24e in my 240sx, how was the swap?? i know the z24 is a throtel body and the ka is EFI, how hard is it to swap into the engine harness??any info would be greatly apericiated.
