It's hard to explain how much fun performance driving is. I was recently out with NASA at Phoenix International Raceway, and figured I would share a few cool pics of my car.

The day went incredibly well. I moved up to HPDE3, which was my goal for the day. It went without incident, and I drove my car an hour to get there, and an hour home after the day's beatings. Had a total of zero issues, and there have been none in a total of three track days thus far in the 240SX. I love this car.

A vid of the warm up lap of the third session can be seen at the following link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=082NIgNDEvU I'm two cars ahead, and bid adieu once we get to the oval.

Sorry for the watermarks on the pictures. I'm in the process of buying them from the photographer. A few pics:

Second session, check-ride for DE3

About 7000 RPM in fourth, coming onto the oval's main straight

Warm up lap for the third session.

Entering the carousel at speed

Onto the straight at speed

My old Integra that I recently sold to a fellow enthusiast. He's way cool, and it's great to see my car out there even after all of the times I ran it at the track.

Aww man, I shoulda went to that this year. Great to see your RB monster gettin some track time. Looks like it'll never be a garage queen.

Btw, do you drive your coupe on the street that often? I have yet to see it.

Thanks, Metaru.

Yep, that's what I bought it for. I'm on the street with it maybe once or twice a week.

^ Unless he busted the right one, he has tri-projectors on both sides. Looks like he's just covering one up possibly?

Bricks ftw though!

Thanks. It would absolutely be worth it. As long as your car is mechanically sound, get out there and learn how to drive.

There are plenty of tracks in CA. Check out both SCCA and NASA events. Here are a few links http://socal.drivenasa.com/ http://www.calclub.com/

I actually have the triple projectors. Bricks are a version that contain standard lamps.

Now those are the kind of 240sx pics I like to see. Not enough 240's at the track when I go with my Wrx, a lot more threads like this on Nasioc than 240sx.org

I swap that mesh, gutted headlight in because it serves as an intake for my oil-cooler.

He bought it that way. You're probably thinking of Broadfield. Nice none the less though.

He may have seen the original build of my car, it's been around. Hehe, I did buy it with all of the big stuff done, but I've put a large chunk of coin and time into it.

Matt well done, looks like that RB monster is treating you right. Good to hear that there were no mechanical problems with the car. Have Fun
