My top has shrunk, to the point where the shafts did not go into the holes. So I waited until it was raining and the top was god and wet and adjusted the hooks, it was surprisingly easy to close. So I loosened the hooks some more. The passenger side is where it should be now, but the drivers side hook wasn't long enough for me to loosened enough to allow the shaft to go into it's hole. I gave it a week or so and dropped it, let it be for a few hours and put it up. It locked up with a little effort (still less effort than before).I'm happy, just a little more rain tight than before.

Oh! Sorry to hear that. Someone cut it too much. You should have some slack in there.

Yeah, I think it was you that told me about that mod. I'm just putting off buying a new top. The window is almost impossible to see through. I know I can buy just a window, but I may just move to a less rainy climate and not need the top at all.

So, as I tightened the hook it ended up maxed out. So I just cut it so it would be shorter. It's not raining and I don't feel like bringing out the hose, so I will wait.
