Hey guys....as you may know my vert is going to be used in the Bosch booth this year as a promo for their newly released alignment racks (kinda ironic.....I know....-12 degrees camber in the front).

Anyhow, I just thought I'd start sharing some of the items that are going to be on the car for the show. I know you guys will appreciate the upgrades being made to the car. If you don't, please let me know. I welcome all comments!

So here goes.............These Extrudabody ITB's are for the freshly built "monster NA" VQ35 being dropped back in next week. Should sound pretty intense. And yes, that's staged injection (12 injectors)!!!

I can't wait to see it installed. You HAVE to get us some hi-res audio! The only thing I didn't like about your car before was the stupid stockish VQ intake mani.... Guess you won't be needing that.

So do you get to keep those after SEMA or what?

You bet your as$ I'm keeping them after SEMA. I paid hard earned money to Extrudabody for this set up.

By the way, the boys at Extrudabody have a great selection of ITB's and are very knowledgeable. If your in the market give' em a shot!

I will put some new parts and developements up periodically over the next 2 weeks leading up to the SEMA show. Stay Tuned!

Most beautiful ITB I've ever seen in my life. That thing is a master piece. I want to buy it just to hang it on the wall. Surprisingly, this company in South Africa makes it. Extrudabody is an only dealer in the US.

Holy Crap is that AWESOME!!!!!

Finally someone does something about that retarded VQ intake system. I hate that damn plenum design on that motor.

Guys, Thank you for the positive feedback!

JSpec, the manifold is made by Extrudabody. I had them etch the Bosch logo on the manifold for the promotion of Bosch's fuel injectors.

more updates coming tonight!

that is pretty darn sick man!!!

they do look baller, but something about the Top Secret ITB setup seems a little more appealing to my eyes.

not hating, just discussing the visual side of the matter lol

The visual side of the matter is great Timeless.....but how do you think that is going to fit under the vert hood without adding some terrible hood scoop. That is why Extrudabody made the set up the way they did.

P.S. The TopSecret ITB set up was my original plan in 06. But knowing the cost is $6 G's and hood clearance is a seriuos issue, the idea got sidelined. You think I wanted that hideous stock manifold on the car!? LOL.......

hahaha, all of your points are extremely valid, and what matters is what they do for the car right? I will be very interested in seeing how your car is reborn and look forward to seeing street AND dyno vids!

Dyno vids will be in two weeks when the car is all pieced back together. Probably the late night pre SEMA thrash. We are fabbing up a new exhaust as well so I will also get some street driving vids to give you guys an idea what she sounds like after the new parts. No Problem! Keep the feedback coming!

Hahahahaha...........Its all love Greg! I can't wait to show you around her at SEMA........and then go get beers.

Well, here is a pick of the SuperMade kit just pushed up on the car at the body shop. By this time the car should almost be done there. The motor is also very close to completion. I'm hoping the two can reconvene sometime in the middle of next week. That's when all the fun fab work starts!!!

don't want to sound too stupid, but what does that ITB do? it's a better one than the stock? gives more HP? I got a vq35de, is it bolt on?

OMG!!!!!!!! I think I just solved the mystery of my used all metal, no vent, flush S13.4 conversion fenders that I had sent from Okinawa. I have never seen or heard of another pair and mine happened to be red and sorta beat up. I believe these are the EXACT fenders on my car. Wierd!

Did you have any troubles with the rear bumper and over fenders? For some reason it didn't fit too amazing on the rear for me.. It wouldn't fit on the other side for some reason..

So far everything fits fine. The rear bumper slips right over the fenders.

Yea, I think the kouki front will look great with the SuperMade kit after it's all put together!!!!!!

This is how the motor looked last week after it was completely stripped by the boys at Q&E machine in Orange County. Notice the Nissan "engine rebuild" gasket kit and BC engine parts laying in the background. Missing from the picture are the JE Pistons. All of the parts are beautiful and don't belong going unnoticed inside the engine!

As you can see.......we had a little rod bearing problem.

To alleviate this from happening again I am adding a new crank, ACL race bearings, a large capacity APS oil pan, as well as a more competent oil pump. The oiling system will be the "Achilles heel" no more.

This week I will post more pictures of the engine as it's assembled as well as the exterior once it's through at paint.

I'm digging everything so far... except the front bumper cover.

I can understand how baller it's going to be to have the instant gentleman kit on that car. However, when I see that front bumper, I think Pontiac for some reason...

I liked to Origin kit better. It's going to be cool nonetheless.

I can't wait to see it complete. Once again, thanks for keeping us in the loop.
