Got it for $1200 from a guy I know.Ilvemynissan wrote: Clean vert man. How much did you pick it up for. What are your plans for it?
haha thanks. That thing is super easy to slide.S13xCrazy wrote:Anybody who's baller enough to slide a beamer is pimptastic on my scale.
Welcome man!
Yeah it wasn't to hard. You just have to take the fender off or just enough so you can get to the bolts. You also have to unplug all the wiring in the door and take it out to use in the new one. But over all it wasn't to hard.fresno240sx wrote:kool..was swapping the door easy or hard?
Thanks, But personally it isn't there yet. I got a few more things to do before I can call it clean and sexysebazztard wrote:nice vert.... clean and sexy
I sold it because I figured I should sell it before I dump 10K into it to make it what I wanted. Plus I got more then enough money for that car. I will get another one one day though. And no I did not sell the Supra to get this vert. The vert popped up a few weeks after I sold it and I bought it for a beater.jspec603 wrote:Nice find on the vert man. But I have to ask, why did you get rid of the MK3? That's such a sexy car! Keep us up to date with lots of pics!
I running a 3 point harness until I get my cage.fresno240sx wrote:i forgot..how did you did the seat belt thing by swapping the new doors? any pics?

Yeah it should look good when I am done. I loved that supra and I will never forgot how clean I had it.240lookis wrote:nice vert. gonna look good with the front coils on. your old supra looked amazing too. no doubt the vert will look just as good.
Umm the M3 did. Not all E36 come with it. I think it is a clutch type.StandardProspect wrote:lookin good man

I went to san jose about 8-11 months ago to a place that helps homeowners refinance. it was in the very back and i parked in the front. while i was walking to the office i saw this freaking bas *** red supra RHD. I just walked over and was checking it out. some guys rolled up and asked if i needed help and i just told the guy i was checking out the cars. they had like a bunch of other rides they were working on. one of the guys was really cool and actually took the time to talk to me about what they had done to the supra. this dude was so cool that he even gave me some suggestions on what to do with my vert and offered future advice if i ever needed it. awesome!!! again nice work on the vert and welcome to our family!!

In regards to your loud exhaust, a "whirly muffler" will quiet that down quite a bit.
yup yup D-Max version 1.TIMELSS_vert wrote:DMax aero? car looks very promising, keep up the good work man!
Where do you have the harness bolted down to? Underneath the rear seats?BorHor wrote:

Also, The coupe door swap seems pretty straight forward, I've got an extra set sitting at the house. My question to you is how would you recommend unhinging the old doors and putting the other ones on?BorHor wrote:

Yup where the buckle is. I just removed the buckle and used that boltjohnny butt wrote:Where do you have the harness bolted down to? Underneath the rear seats?
umm I just took the fender off and took the 4 bolts that held on the hinge. Bad part about that is. is that it takes longer to line it up. I am actually still haveing issues with it but every time I get a chance with the fender off i mess with it and make it better but it just isn't quite where i want it yet.johnny butt wrote:Also, The coupe door swap seems pretty straight forward, I've got an extra set sitting at the house. When I took these off of a scrapped coupe I destroyed the hinge (pin) basically. Just couldn't remove them cleanly. Tried pliers, etc. Maybe it was my lack of patience...
