this is what you do. you put the monitor mode. and you view 3 parameters.
1: RPM2: throttle position3: air flow
make sure that you ne1 is set at 1000rpm and ne2 is set at 2000rpm on the NE adjustment menu.
now you are ready to input hte values for Ne1 and Ne2 on the Dec Air mode. do this when the engine is cold. you go back to the monitor mode. you look at what the air flow percentage is at 1000 rpm. remember that number then put that air flow number in the Ne1 on the Dec Air mode. then you go back to the monitor mode and rev the engine to 2000rpm. now you gotta remmeber what the air flow reading is, but now you gotta remember the throttle percentage as well. now go back to the DEC AIR mode and input the air flow you reading you that you got on 2000rpm. and for the throttle. you put down the throttle percentage that you got for 2000rpm on the throttle setting.
NOTE: very important that you input the values .1-.2 lower then what you actually see on the monitor mode. this applies to both Ne points and the throttle percentage. plus on a cold start, the engine will idle surge pretty badly. but its normal. that is when the AFC is tryin to calibrate itself.
