Weird problem with my HUD and cluster..need some help

ok so ive had my car for a while and its been the same ever since..for some reason my HUD and other digital display only seem to work when the car is hot inside...so if my cabin is hot it works..but if its cold it will only work until the engine makes it hot(about 15 minutes).and if my Hud isnt working my backlights on the cluster arent working..also what i found out recently is that my odometer only works when the full cluster is functioning properly..if my car is nice and warm everything works fine..i have no idea what could be causing this so if some one has the same problem your help will be widely appreciated...thanks

I would pull the harness connector for your HUD and make sure the plugs look good. It could also be the control unit is going bad and only works when it's warm.
