Did anyone ever play this game as a kid? It was for SNES and is pretty much my favorite video game of all time. It's really rare now. I went on ebay to check it out and they are selling used for about 60 dollars. but this one is a little insane....

Un-opened Mega Man x3 game in perfect condition going for 2800 dollars. Sweet bajesus!

After 8, Megaman games went down hill. I'm curiously watching Mega Man 9...and hoping it lives up to it's namesake.

When I was in junior high, one of my friends had an SNES (I had a Genesis/32x) and was supremely obsessed with the Mega Man X games. I remember watching (but not playing, or caring much to play) X and X2. I didn't even realize there was an X3.

If the X games were a downhill slide, though, the Mega Man titles that followed were a bottomless plummet. The Battle Network games are skull-crushingly bad.

I have played every mega man game save for 6. And I can honestly say that X3 was, by far, the very best Mega Man made. I have never once gotten bored of playing it and it is actually a fairly difficult game.

Rock Man X3 was the best of the best. It is also best played on PC, using a PlayStation game pad and USB adapter for it.It was a sad story too. There are plenty of AMV on the web for it.

Capcom made the MegaMan series rock with the X games IMO. I can remember late nights in junior high trying to beat X and X3. Of all the X games I never played, I never played 2. I have a ROM for it, but never got around to playing it.

Supposedly, Capcom is releasing a new X I think? I've been hearing good chatter about it.

Capcom seems to be back to reviving old franchises lately. Bionic Commando, Street Fighter, MegaMan. BCR was great, and I have high hopes for The sequel Bionic Commando. Buzz on the street is SF4 should be amazing, so let's hope they hit the MegaMan nail on the head

They're working on a new classic Mega Man (9) but I hadn't heard anything about a new "X" game.

I used to be the Mega Man expert, now I try to play them on the ZSNES emulator and I suck

Who says age doesn't affect the mind? My play control is FAIL.

You're on an emulator is the problem. I was pretty good at the X games on the SNES. One might say I used to showboat. On an emulator, I have troubles jump dashing pits

It's not the emulator that's the problem here, I'd like to blame the controller more than the program. But you see, that's too convenient. I used to be able to pick up anything and ace it. Now I'm just all old and suck at it...

I've got the same problem. On the computer it's really hard to do simple things, like lump around while holding a charge shot. I just stick to the SNES usually. Much easier and I feel cool and old schoolish.

Haha, I totally didn't think of that. But it's kinda pointless for me to do that since I do have the SNES version sitting on my bedroom floor....

No, it's not pointless. Your laptop with an emulator is capable of muuuuch better resolution, processing speed, secondary effects (mode 7), hit detection protocols and sound sampling rates than the original. You just have to set it first.

It says it costs total of about $30 to make the stuff. Hell, I have the equipment and most of the supplies to do it at work AND an engineer I could pass the work to for free!

Just use PS to USB and hook it up. Dual Shock > SNES

I didn't even know this game was rare. I have the saturn version lying around somewhere in my closest. I better dig it out and put it behind a glass case and make a shrine out of it or something.

Game companies really gotta start re-releasing old rare games. I guess we have to wait until prices sky rocket to the hundreds maybe. I know final fantasy tactics was around $150-180 on ebay before it got released again under greatest hits. Same thing goes for Dragonball GT for the psx.

Random thought... damn it I wish sega would release the sega saturn pad for the PC and ps2 again
