[IMG]Well, after some feed back from this site and talking to local shops in my area, I found a good place to get my wheels back to looking brand new. It's called Wheel Repair Solutions:

http://www.wheelrepairsolutions.com/services.nxg

I had one wheel that was discolored real bad; like part of the rim was sprayed with black paint along with the road rashes and some major chiping. I took the car in and they removed the rim and tire and resurfaced the whole wheel and redid the wheel in hyper silver. Cost was $120 and it took less than 24hrs to repair and balance.

Here's a picture of the finished wheel [IMG][/IMG]

We must be neighbors! I live at Frankford/Midway and have a 06 M35 Sport fully loaded with the chrome sport rims. It has sat in my garage for about a year as I have been traveling but I drive it the few weekends I am at home and its worth it...you do any mods?

Hey, I called a guy up at the Crest off of 75 and he at first said he had a contact when I was interested in buying from him. I ended up buying a Certifed car from Sewell and suddenly he couldnt help me. But I do recall him saying that the Car Toys next to the dealership has done the Nav hack for many other people. May be worth checking out.

I really wanted to do it but am nervous about screwing up my warranty. I will probably wait until I pay it down a bit before I let some 19y/o break apart my dash.

I'm sure we are neighbors, I know your area well. I have not done any mods. I'm thinking of getting slotted rotors and steel brake lines and then new tires because I riding on Khumos. Way too much road noise.

Cool. I want to eventually upgrade the exhaust. I have the stock tires from the dealer and the rim and tire replacement program for 5 years. No issues to date even thought I barely drive it. I fired it up today after 6 months in the garage and it drove perfectly.

I had a Audi S4, sold it, bought a 2002 Porsche 911 and traded it in. I really think this car is not only nice, drives great, has all the gadgets I like but is a decent investment.

Hey guys,I'm in Plano (coit and Legacy). I've had my loaded '06 M45 for about 6 months. I've checked numerous car toys about doing the nav hack. None would do it due to liability.

I checked a couple of other auto audio install shops, and one of them talked about some type of "bypass kit", but I know based on the threads on how to do the hack, that a kit is not necessary.

Their website doesn't work. I'll try to call them later to get a quote. I currently have 3 bent rims, D*** Texas roads! I'm up in Sherman and needless to say this village seems to never repair roads.

Trying to get the car fixed since I finally ordered my JIC pads and Rotora rotors (no lines), my m45 has pretty much been sitting in a garage all year. If I get around to the nav-hack I'll help anyone out, after 2 1/2yrs I worry about this car and the warranty.

BTW Mazdas SUCK, almost flipped the beater a few times. Good story... during a recent freeze my washer fluid lines froze so now when I try to wash the back window a stream of washer fluid squirts from the side pillar Wasn't that great of a feeling when heading to work.

I'm pretty possitive if anyone in the Dallas area will do the Nav hack it's JR's. http://www.jrscustomauto.com/

I bought mine at Crest and had a pretty good experience there. But you won't be disappointed with Sewell's service. I bought my G and the Saab before that there. I bought a used one this time so I was at the mercy of inventory.

I've also used Wheel Solutions ot fix a bent inner lip on two of my G wheels. Did a great job.

I live in Uptown myself. I'm putting on my Element exhaust this weekend and hopefully will do the Nav Hack soon. My good friends used to run a shop in New Mexico so I sent them the directions and they know exactly what to do.

I'm all up for a meet too!

We just moved from Uptown when we got married, live in Las Colinas now. Funny thing is I'm not really missing Uptown at all.

I'm new on this forum; was doing a web search for a wheel repair shop for an alloy custom wheel on my Tundra when I ran across this post. I also live in Sherman and drive a white 03 M45 with 30K miles. I just put some new wheels on it that have chrome rims with black spoke centers. I want to modify the exhaust but have not found anyone that will touch it.

Glad to see all the DFW folks here....

Where do people go for oil changes? I have an 07 M35. Is it Crest, Sewell or somewhere else?

For oil changes, a good local place - like a gas station that does repair work on cars - for oil changes is fine. Just don't use Jiffy Lube or equivalent! Locally in San Jose, CA, I use one of three places: Precision Tune, Goodyear Tire Center, and a small local Chevron gas station.

They allow me to supervise the work and I can also check out my car while the car is up on the lift, which is why I go to them.

So ... get your oil (see your other post for my recommendations) from an auto parts place, filter and copper crush washer from your local Infiniti dealer (or from http://www.everythinginfiniti.com) and go for it!

And never use a Fram filter or a store branded filter made by Fram. WIX is a good one you don't have to worry about.

I bought the complete set of service manuals for my M45 - set me back $300 for 4 manuals - wish I had gotten the DVDs instead; would have been easier to search.
