i was almost done with this whole post when i lost everything. i had long descriptions and questions about things. but now idc. so here are the pictures with short captions.

my popcharger. i installed it months ago but never posted any pictures. thanks cmeasely for the common sense of angling it downward by loosening the clamps, which i finally did today.

good picture of the pop.

this yellow plug was loose, which is why my car has been running like hell for a month. i need the yellow replaced. i hear newer ones are blue and i won't have to worry about them.

see?

see this? the hood dampener thing. how it should be.

this one's missing. where can i get a new one?

my PS thing. it leaks, which sucks. i refill it regularly with ATF and drive most of the time w/o PS

ebay strut bar. don't buy one. trust me.

Z32+C5=great combo.

this means i need to get lowered.

i want to paint my calipers red.

interior. love it.

neat. installed this a couple days after the pop.

jeep i drove before i got the z. 235k running strong. also what i drive when the Z is being a *****.

fairlady Z.

my favorite. awesome. shows it all. i'll take it again one day when it's clean, probably when it's TT, and when i decide to apply my four years of college-level art photography.

this means the vette needs to get lowered.

this is my water pump and timing belt that i ordered from CZP. i'll need them soon enough.

old airbox.

different.

slicktop.

enjoy. sorry they're so big. any comments/recommendations/advice on anything whatsoever is appreciated.

Does your yellow connector have a little metal clip around it? It should have one to keep it on.

As for your little hood stop, you can find one at any Z vendor. For OEM parts, I usually go to http://www.courtesyparts.com.

Yes, I agree with you about the eBay strut bar. I had for about a week and took it off as it eats away at your fuel line and hits the hood.

But overall, I am a little jealous, you have a slicktop, I want one.

i showed the guys at nissan the connector and that's what they told me. about one third of the yellow part is there and the metal clip is gone altogether. they said they probably have a few laying around so i'll either get one from them or order a new one. like i said before, they said something a newer one that's blue and less problematic.

thanks for the site!

my strut bar will come out eventually. wow, i just thought about how it gets in the way of the spark plugs, and immediately realized why the nice Carbing strut bar is oddly shaped. that's it i bet...

seems like everyone wants a slicktop. when i was looking for my z i actually did NOT want one, but now i'm glad i have it; i like being unique.

I dig the shoes!

As for the little parts and such, just go to your local dealer. They're not expensive and they can get them. Plus you don't have to pay shipping that way. Ordering little odds and ends off the internet which can be had locally is stupid. Support your local Nissan dealer.

That yellow plug is for your coolant temp sensor. If it is green and corroded, chances are many critical ones are the same and need attending too as it will run like crap with intermittent issues if left that way. Scrape off as much as you can and treat it with a high quality contact cleaner and then use dielectric grease to protect. CAS, PTU, MAF, Injecotrs, AAC, FICD, Air Regulator, TS boost solenoids, EGR solenoid, AIV solenoid, PRVR solenoid all use this crappy non-weatherproof plug and should be looked at.

I would check the gasket on the cap of your PS fluid. Driving it without fluid will ruin the pump.

thank you! i never knew that was something i could do! i thought you needed expensive diagnostic equipment to "run codes" or do ANYTHING with an ECU! this is great lol. this is why i love nico. i'm going to try that later on. hopefully i get a "55". if i get something else i'm sure i'll be posting cuz i'll have no idea what to do.
