I have not been brave enough to attempt to remove the inside cover of the hatch for the license plate bulb, but I have replaced all the interior and the front parking lights with LED bulbs. These are "Easy" replacements and make a huge difference in appearence. For the interior you need 10 Bulbs total. For the parking lights 2 more. If you want to attempt the plate its the same bulb as 6 of the interior and the 2 parking light bulbs. Here are the parts I used, and the place I got them. Part #85645 - Festoon Hi-Power 1Watt LED - 31mm Super White You need 2 for the cargo bay lightsPart #75841 - T5 3-LED Super White You need 2 for the footwells of Front Seats Part #45687 - T10 - 1Watt Hi-Power LED Super White You Need 6 for the rest of the interior lights 2 for Map 2 for Front Door Bottom and 2 for Rear Seat Top If you want to swap the parking and or Plate bulbs, it's the same bulb (T10) I purchased mine at http://www.ledlight.com. It was not cheap, but IMO well worth it. Maybe I will post some pics if I get a chance.

Pardon my ignornance, but do the incancescent sockets accommodate the LED bulbs w/o any retrofitting. I'd love to change them out, like you did, if it doesn't entail replacing the sockets. Thanks!

Welcome to the group, Happy2Drive! Check out this page, from the link originally posted by rontek. Here's a quote from the FAQ portion of the above link: Q: Are automotive LED lights direct replacements for automotive bulbs? A: Yes, the LED automotive lights directly replace the automotive bulbs you already have. You remove your incandescent light bulb and insert your automotive LED light bulb. You do not need to redo your electrical system to use the LED lights. The LED Bulbs are specifically designed to replace the incandescent light bulbs used in your automobile, motorcycle or RV.

Would you mind shedding a bit more light (yes, bad pun) on the difference made by using LED lighting? Thanks,

I am currently working on a suspension mod for the EX that I will post shortly with the forums permission. In the meantime, here are pictures of the interior of my EX... Does anyone notice anything out of place?? Look carefully... I am currently working on a suspension mod for the EX that I will post shortly with the forums permission. Hmmm... (5 minutes of trying too hard later...) ...A-HA! You have the black laquer/aluminum interior door panels (like me) & SHOULD have black laquer Center console, yet you have woodgrain... right? Or you could have switched it the other way around (car came with wood trim, & you switched doors to aluminum.) That's all I can see out of the ordinary... Did I get it?

You definately get the "prize"!! I wanted the wood look on the dash but liked the aluminum trim on the doors so I purchased the 2 pieces and installed them myself. If you look hard enough, you will see that I also added the leather stiched cover that is attached directly above the gauges. Overall it looks nice and classy without being overly done. I also just designed a cnc suspension brace for the EX-35 similar to some of my designs that we sell for the Toyota Prius and with the forums permission, i will post some info on this as well. This part bolts directly to the frame of the body and helps increase the rigidity and overall feel of the vehicle. Thanks!!

Where'd you get the wood pieces? Also, I noticed the meter hood stitching but thought it came with your EX. Think I'd like to get that myself. How'd you do that one?

I will dig up the exact part number for you tomorrow. I will tell you that it was a major PITA to get as Infiniti has at least 8 different part numbers for the same thing!! The price was very reasonable though and the installation took all of 5 minutes. If anyone has any questions please let me know. Thanks!!

Rontek:I ordered and received the LEDs to change out the bulbs per your specs. Would you mind en-"lightening" me as to how to easily access & replace the bulbs in the front foot-wells? Before I disassemble any panels, I wanted to check with someone who has already crossed this bridge. The other locations should be easy, I hope. Thanks for your assistance!! I used a butter spreader (like them because they're flat and with round edges) or you can wrap a cloth around your flat-head screwdriver and pry the whole light out. I unplug the whole fixutre so it's easier to work with. Then use a smaller flat-head (again wrap it with cloth to avoid damage) to pry out the light cover. Pull out the old bulb and install your new leds. Always check to see if they light up before putting the light cover back on. Then stand back and admire your work (at least that's what I did for 10 mins )

i want to change all my interior lights to BLUE led but im not sure if it would look good. i mean like it would probaly be really dark. do u know what i mean. like blue LED gives off great colour but it would be hard on your eyes if the whole interior of your car lights up blue when u open the door in the middle of the night. but im sure it wold look cool. my interior finish is wheat that yellowish white leather. perhaps i should leave the lights the way it is?
