Probably about a week and some change. I usually have gray and blue wire in stock, but my supplier is down So I have to order from somewhere else which means higher cost to me and longer wait times.

Sorry

Thanks for your interest. We have not designed a G37 kit yet. I will post a request thread in the G forums for a prototype car and you're welcome to check back with me periodically to find out status.

The G37 has a 7 speed Automatic (7AT) and 6 speed Manual (6MT) if I remember correctly. I'm not sure which you were going to purchase.

I probably won't be getting any more of the cobalt blue in. My cost on that wire doubled

I do have a really nice glossy blue though.

Ken

Still looking for my notes on the FX45 for comparison. IF I ever find those, then I'll be testing the fitment on the M45 OR...I'll just have to go steal one from the local dealership (easier said than done).

Hey Sentient I just purchased my first G 2 weeks ago and have been browsing these forums since looking for things I can do this summer and came across this thread.

I would be interested in a quote for an overkill kit for an 05 G35X to 44256.

And yes you get my very first post!

Thanks and the kit looks fantastic!

Thanks

Went out this morning. I'm going to have to change my policy a little and put a 2-3 day lead time on orders.

My new son (3 weeks old) is taking up a ton of time and energy and getting made-to-order kits out the same or next day is near impossible.

I'll email you a tracking number in a few.

I need a test vehicle. My buddy with the 2 S chassis sold one (can't remember if it was the S13 or S14) and is never available. Damned Engineering students!!! lol

Yeah!

You wouldn't believe you difficult it is to get people to lend their cars. It's not like I'm asking to drive the damned thing. Just measure it out.

Yes!

I usually give them a 50% off discount AND a credit for every referral that buys a kit up to a maximum of the price they paid.

So, the tester can get the kit for free if they refer a few guys/gals.

Important NOTE: I need somebody with a stock engine. If they have an SR or RB, then the grounds will likely be different and we'll be back at square one.

If you guys want kits for all engine possibilities (including FI apps), I'm happy to accomodate, I just need multiple test vehicles.

Are the engine the same size (not displacement, but physical size)?

If not, then the kits will be different between the two. I don't do that "One size fits all" none sense.

the block is not the same size but the ground contacts are the same length from where ever they are connected and ill be the first to buy one and try a KA kit on my SR to make sure it works =]

Ok. That works for me.

Kit should be on the very affordable side as there won't be too many grounds, but hopefully it will still benefit you guys who may have corroded or inadequate grounding.

Just wanted to add my experience -

Nate was very prompt with response and shipping, and I was relieved when the package arrived with very thorough and clear instructions for installation, step by step with colour photos. I had the kit installed on my G35 in about an hour with no problems.

One thing is clear - the stock grounds are horrifyingly inadequate. They use flimsy wires for major ground points, bolted straight onto painted metal. In addition to installing the kit, I ground down all the contact points for bare metal contact, and replaced all the stock connectors with new ones to eliminate the existing corrosion.

The result? A lot more than a bundle of wires has any right to do. Throttle response is razor sharp and immediate, and shifts in drive are smoother and quicker. Manual mode is about the same, but I never use it anyway Even the idle is smoother! I wasn't expecting such a difference, but it just goes to show how crappy the stock wiring is and how good Nate's kit is.

Highly recommended, it should be the first mod anyone does!
