Hey,

I tried searching to see if this has been asked but that showed no results. I got a SR20det Throttle and the throttle was bent so I was wondering if it can be replaced with the KA or should I go ahead and get a new sr throttle.

Thanks~Nate

I was thinking about using the ka throttle body to wire in and hook up Cruise Control . Is there any size difference? Will the tps swap out? There is a wright up in the tech pages for Cruise Control.

TPS are electronically the same between the S13s. Can't verify that for the S14s, though.

The KA TPS uses a post style of drive with a notch on it while the SR uses a flapper type, so physically they can't be transferred.

The bore size of the throttle body are identical.

You will have to rotate the coolant tubes to line up with the SR coolant hoses.

I've posted this before, so I don't think you've searched well

My KA throttle was not interchangeable with the SR. Both were s14 motors. I had to buy an s14 sr throttle. There are more vacuum ports on the s14 unit. I think there may have been a difference in size as well, but I can't remember because I tried 3 different ones s13 KA and SR and s14 KA and neither worked for me. So I just bought the SR unit.

would a Q45 Throttle body work on the S14 SR?

and how hard is it to find a SR throttle body..as in how hard was it for you to find one?

Q45=too big (but I wouldn't be suprised if they made adapters), if you are doing an Intake upgrade I know it will work fine.

You can use the bigger NA SR unit.

but its not very hard to find a turbo one. In fact:

you already have someone offering you one. BTW. I have bought something from him before with no problems

Ok ha More questions

Is the Turbo SR's Throttle body bigger than the N/A?

and Bigger N/A SR Throttle bodies?

im assuming from one of the USDM Transverse SRs in Sentras,G20s etc...
