My tire purchase included free rotations every 5K so that's what I do. $5 per tire for balancing and I am out the door for 20 bucks total. Plus, they don't mind me taking a peek at the brakes and underside while it's on the lift, so it's good for me to get in there fairly often.

The current Exaltos on my Q have been rotated about every 6-8K, last alignment was when they were installed, currently wearing very evenly with 50,5xx miles on them with 4-5/32 tread left. A fantastic tire for those still rolling on factory wheels.

I have to agree this is a great tire thoses ExaltosThe stick to the road even in the rain.

I had some cheapos on my car before theses. I pad $200 installed for they were rated at 30,000 miles I took them to 40,000 and I was all over the road.

I think I paid $520 installed for all 4 of my Exaltos 23,000 miles or so ago.

Qship96 That is good to know I can take them up to 50,000 with tread to spare I will not have to shell out any cash for a while barring I dont bust a tire or so. I have already patched them twice though for nails I ran into.

The Exaltos are soo good, I bought another set back in January when Tirerack had the 225/60/15/v on sale for $85 each, even though I didnt need them at the time! They sit in the garage patiently waiting to come out and play.

It's a little short. Perfect is 235/60-15.

Still have some miles to go on my XGTH, then it's all over for 15".

I have run both the 215 and 225 and I no see difference on gas mileage but the handling is a little better with 225.

You will have no problems running 225

I rotate mine at every oil change, since the car is on jack stands anyway. I don't think reducing the change interval hurts anything.

I don't rotate. When you rotate, you buy 4 tires at a time. I buy two new tires when the fronts wear out and put the new tires on the back.

Rotation is more a matter of feeling all 4 tires for inner outer heel/toe feathering with finger tips and deciding when to start the flip reverse wear process before too much damage is done and the reversing becomes confortable/noisey.

Much depends on states road roughness formula..........states design roads to wear tires to protect asphalt from wear.

Yeah, he must drive mostly FWD cars, because most times Ive seen on Q the rears wear first (since they are the drive wheels)

OEM's are 215/65...Brian's talking about going with a 235/60 series instead of the 65.

To be specificOEM 215/65 15 = 26" height225/60 15 = 25.63"235/60 15 = 26.10"
