So, how was my day better than your's? Well, first off it started off in nice warm beautiful Florida, but its the later events that made it great.

So my brother, my friend Kiren, and i decided we were going to go surf fishin, about a mile away from my house. It was actually a nice easy day for fishin at the beach, the surf turned out to actually be under a foot when there where actual waves. We had bought some frozen finger mullet at the store a few days back so we were safe in the event that we caught nothing at the beach for bait. Anyways, The first, and most important thing we caught was a buzz, but then interestingly enough we caught this little guylittle baby black tip. i was kinda surprised to see him hangin off a big 8/0 hook. At a later point, i see my light rod with only 8 lb on it bend in half, jumped over to it, and set the hook. The mono was tearin off of the real. I hooked somethin a bit stronger than the baby black tip. It was streaking towards the shore, rolling in the water, jumped a few times, and pullin line of my real. All i could pray for was for my 8 lb line not to pop. After a bit of fightin we got this little bad boy in. Well, after some fishin we decided to go home and get some food, we were all gettin hungry, so i whipped us up a little gourmet meal. Shark marinated in a citrus cilantro marinade, grilled, and finished with a citrus butter sauce. I have to say, i am not a fan of fish in general, but shark is delicous. In conclusion, i don't know if my day was actually better than your own, but i wouldn't trade it for any other. In any case, happy fishin.

Shark is delicious, so long as you can avoid any trace of urea.

Great catch!

Thanks for the comments guys, i actually am goin fishin tomarro, hopefully i can at least have the same luck. One of my goals for the summer is to catch at least a 6 ft black tip, but this is going to require some fundage, as i will need an appropiate rod/reel setup, as well as a minimum of 60 lb line and 480 lb cable for leader. What ever happens, i will keep my fellow niconauts updated.
