Re-Using Hicas subframe? will it work

Okay here is the deal.:

I have 91 super hicas, my friend is getting a 89 non-hicas. He wants to swap me rear sub frames so h can have the factory tierod adjustments. But i'm not sure if you can reinstall the hicas subframe w/o having hicas on the car.

So is it possible to put a Hicas subframe onto a non-hicas car?

from what ive heard/read you can swap them and there is a eliminator bar for the hicas. it just makes it solid and you still have the tie rods.
