95 240sx door lock assembly

The passenger door on my 95 240sx will not unlock. No key, power locks, nor manual ulock will do the trick. And being unable to open the door i can't take the door panel off. I know its not the rod as i had the top of the door panel moved up and over the lip so i could see down in there. I think it has something to do with the acutall full door lock mechanism and latch. Just wondering if theres a overide to the actually locking mechanism

Not that I know of, my driverside door did the same thing, I actually had to take the screw out of the interior door handle, and slide the door handle mechanism forwards slightly then it opened, try that, seems that rod that moves it likes to be in an exact spot and if it's off slightly then that door ain't opening.

Took me months of thinking what it could be to try that, and luckily it worked, give it a shot, don't even have to take the door off, just the part of the door interior where the inner latch is at.
