Plustar Pluse plug? Is that thing for real? Anyone ever used it?

The ad says it makes better spark for better burning of the fuel mixture.

I see that rotary engines have 2 spark plugs on each rotor to burn the fuel air mixture efficiently. Will the plustar help as well?

seems like it makes sense. normally lets say the spark plug output is 50w spark, because thats what is supplied through the wires. stick a capacitor in there so that it can charge 500w and discharge when the plug fires next. there isnt a constant spark from the spark plugs anyways, its the general nature of it - it pulses sparks. im not sure how they set up the circuit to have the cap discharge to keep in with the engine timing, but theoretically you would have an incredibly stronger spark. whether having a stronger spark actually makes any difference..... well i cant argue about that, i have no clue

edit: well actually thinking about it, current is only getting to the spark plug when the distributor rotor comes to that wire right, its not like there is constant current on the spark plug wires. then in that case this doesnt really do much as far as power output...... i dont think

there is almost nothing to a spark plug, its a very simple design. being that they have been around for over 100 years, theres probably not much more that you could advance in there design more then it already has.

and to drop $100 for just plugs for a 4 banger is rediculous, you can do almost a whole tune up for that.

i dunno, until its proven to give more power ill stick with my ngk's.

i think my thinking was completely wrong back there haha. and after reading more of the site seems like some of the sentences were written by someone foreign, a lot of it seems like gimmicks. it says it works by recovering lost energy throughout the car. also i dont think simply sticking a cap in the spark plug would do anything as far as power output.

I noticed that they don't make any for my 2.5L QR25DE engine with coil on plugs but they have some for 305Z VQ35DE (Coil on plug) and 240sx KA24DE (Distributor).

So that's not a coil on plug Vs Distributor issue.

Some articles.

But the thing is from Modified Mag, if it were Grass Root or Sport Compact Car I'd be more convinced.

I know Modified Mag tested them in an issue a few months ago. They showed 10hp increase on their 350z... How they work? I have no idea.

Just get regular cheapo plugs...NGK FTW. I remember when I got my first 240 and everything was iridium this iridium that and it made no ****ing difference. Don't waste your money. Change your plugs with NGK's every oil change or so.

My point is that it is a gimmick. Nothing more. With the frequency you should be changing your plugs at to be effective you will be throwing money away.
