Well thats the lower front driver side strut tower and its right above the frame rails, i poked it and its not strong at all, i am going to take it to the shop and see what they say. I don't have much of the benefit to have my own garage to take it on myself and frustrates me a bit cause i do not want to pay for something i can likely take on myself with free time.

She has a real overall clean interior, paint needs to see a better day lol, and the engine runs fine just needs to tune up. I have had the car for just about 3 yr's in august and all its seen is storage till 2 months ago

that sucks. That is exactly what I did. Looked around the car, and found that. I didn't even bother with it. So I bought another one. sadly its just the chassis. but its rust free!

if your going to make a track car part it out and get a clean shell. a good clean shell should for cheap if you look hard enough.

That is nasty. I dont know how much that would cost so I dont know about the price. But make sure they get all of it.

Yeah it's a bi#$h...

Either way its gonna cost you... as I said below, I took it on and pretty much stripped the whole car, but in the process we took advantage of the hands on process to improve on factory compromises.

Good luck...

I don't know wtf, i left my dad the money and told him to bring it to the shop and stay during the process. So the guy doesn't bs in which he did because the job looks very sloppy

That sucks man. I also agree it doesn't even look like it was welded. but if it holds up.......i guess it's good then?

it looks like they just threw a piece of sheet metal over the rust and put some tar around it or something. and the bracket holding the brake line looks bent up at the bottom compared to before. wtf..

good luck with it. don't take no bs!
