Hello,

I purchased a used 2007 M35 sport about a month ago. I have conditioned the leather several times but notice after a few days that it becomes spotted or appears to be dried out again????

Anyone recommend a product to hydrate the leather or comment on my issue? I have had numerous vehicles with leather and never seen this before.

Thanks,

Alex

google hide food, This is made by Connely Leather of UK. It is essentially reconstituted bovine collagen. Nothing better for leather on the planet. You may need to apply it every week for 2 months but it will rescue seriousdried leather.

Also, clean the seat with a good saddle soap before application of Hide Food

Sorry to say but the quality of Infiniti leather has been going down. My 99 Q45 had better quality leather than my 03 M45. In reality your leather color is probably spray applied like paint. This is common in most vehicles today other than high end models. You need to be very careful what you apply to the "leather" since whatever you apply might dissolve the finish.

I think you are right about that ... I had the same feeling about my 2003 M45 leather compared to my previous two Q45's.

Definitely good to be careful.

I have been using Lexol products (both the cleaner and conditioner) and it has not caused any problems - I have the Silver M45 with the Black leather interior and these have worked out well so far.

Leatherique has been mentioned by some sites as being excellent too ... someday, I will find the time to use the bottle I have of that. Sigh!
