What it boils down to is what do you want? You can do whatever you want. The minimal key things, Damicci said, are platform (Japanese RWD V8 sedan, typical), fitment, and suspension work (which usually allows the extreme fitment). Like I said, do what YOU want, regardless. My Q is pretty much not VIP. I may have a VIP style exhaust, other exhaust mods, OEM Japanese headlights, and JIC Magic coil overs, but still not what some may consider VIP. Do I care? Not really. I like my ride how it is. I do want some more aggressive wheels, but they are really expensive. Period.
