Anyone heard of this setup? Using roller rocker motor lifter because they have bigger oil ports, 98-99 sentra se-l rocker arms ( have a deeper bowl that sits on the lifters), then the rocker arms are machined so thay you could have notched shims on both arms of the lifters. In the end its still hydrolic so you never have to adjust anything and supposedly you can rev to 9K with no float. What are your guys thought on this, anyone actually have experience with a setup like this?

Roller Rocker SR20DE's are known to NOT like revving, and are generally regarded as not being the choice for a performance engine.

On the other hand, VVL engines do not apply to DE RR motors...

yea but all were doin is putting in lifters with a bigger oil port on the side in our head and the rocker arm just has a bigger bowl to sit on the lifter and the shims are both notched so there is less chance of a rocker poping off. Makes sence to me but i dont know how it would compare to going with solids?

I inquired to Mazworx about them a while ago and they said not to use them because they are weaker.

I say just go to solid lifters.

I have heard some guys using B15 Sentra SE (sr20de) lifters due them 'being stronger'....the same can be said with the tensioner.

in the grand scheme, if you want to rev, solid you must go.
