OK guys i really need help, my front bumper is Sagging like hell, and i really need to fix this. It looks really really ugly.

Forgive the dirty car, i was really lazy to wash it.

edit* The picture is so you can see just how bad the sag is...im very sad about this, i tried removing the bumper and remounting it...i got the same result. Its like a 3cm gap, and it really really annoys me when i look at my car.

ANy help would be greatly appreciated

im assuming there are the bolt/screw and clips holding it on now

you can try to loosen the bolts that holds your hood and move the hood forward. it may close the gap a bit

the fender to bumper nuts might be missing on the upper part where the fender is above the bumper on the side. there should be like 3 bolts there on each side. Also the bumper to fender line isnt smooth. It looks bowed in some. That could cause it.

Thanks for all the help guys. Im going to try as many of those suggestions as possible. Ive already check all the bolts, they are all tightly fastened, i already tried to remove and remount the bumper, but to no avail.

And Zip ties wont work with my situation trust me i tried already, al i got was an eerie creeking sound, and blistered fingers.

That wouldnt help, as the headlight would interfere. Also that wouldnt help the bumper sag, because the bumper sag is also evident when you look at the fender-bumper position you will see that, that doesnt line up...i really want to get this fixed the car is only half a CHUKI with this gap....a "CHU" if you will.....in need the "KI"

Did you remove the bumper support for any reason?

Hmm so removing the bumper support would cause the bumper to sag?.....Ill go check right now, The car is second hand so i didnt check if the bumper support was there or not when i bought it.

Also if the the support is missing is there any way to realign the bumper without the support, or would i need to get a new support and install it?

I have that same wing or whatever when i bought my 240. Except the guy before me used a sh*t load of washers to support it. What is it? Don't exactly know wings at all

Hood prop mod will help push the hood closer. search for hood prop mod.

Like the others said, i'd just throw a few washers in there between the upper 10mm bolts and the brackets.

I'm not sure what can be done to support the center of the bumper without the support underneath it. The bumper should mount to the support IIRC, so you would have to find a way to replace that functionality. Maybe a piece of angle iron that spans the front of the bumper cover and offers some rigidity to the center section.

The wing is a JDM 180sx Kouki Rear Wing. And i think if your gonna put a wing on your car its this one. Its the only wing that really suits the 240sx, Else just go naked.

you made this seem like an emergency...somebody out their is actually more OCD than myself.

I would look for the core support, the foam piece, you could modify that a little to give some lift to your sagging front

My hood is OK it fits just right, i searched Hood Prop Mod..WTF??Anyway the washers on upper mounts idea seems to be the best if that fails, i will be forced to use zip ties and brute force. Thanks for all the help guys.

And if it works ill definitely post that up so that other people with the same problem can fix it.

maybe take the bracket off of the bumper, and bend it back a little bit.

Should close up the gap

Does the chuki bumper have 4 bolts that hold the top on under the hood? Get a buddy to hold it up where you want it while you crank those down.

Yeah it does, but it sounds more like his bracket is bent down to me.

Just because you don't have that much play with those bolts

but maybe! Who knows, only one way to find out!

To everyone who posted...thanks. I figured the problem was the actual brackets holding up the bumper, so im goin to a body shop and gonna have it lifted. Once i get it fixed im coming back to show off...i love my chuki
