Just that it was warm enough to get the Vert out today (been 2 months since it'd been uncovered). Learned it needs a new battery today and that I've vibrated out one of the bolts that connected the strut bar to the mount.

But for a while I'd been looking for an OEM Vert boot. Then a local guy emailed me and didn't want his anymore, had never been folded, with boot and with a couple extra items (plastic clip for back seat mount and 4 new screw snaps for rear panels). Picked it up last weekend and finally got it on today, of course the car is still dirty.

What's the part number on the zip lock strap?

Looks good! I'll have to post a big update thread on my car once I take it to paint and body

Think it was the same as the number listed in that thread on here (zer...1.JPG), but I'll make sure when I get home tonight.

That zip lock strip is no longer available.

Looking good biggie. I didn't care much about that spoiler, but I like it now.

Nice!!! I like your exhaust, is it the one off of ebay, I've been looking at it for awhile. How do you like it?

Yeah, it was purchased from SSAC on ebay, same as the others on ebay I guess. No problems and I like it. Only issue with this style of exhaust is the resonator that sits under the seat area can be a problem on lowered cars, as speed bumps love to hit them, just have to be a little careful.

I heard another problem is hanger weld is not strong, so sometime it breaks. But, any muffler shop can weld it back for you cheap. There's a review on this exhaust in 240 gen forum. biggie posted sound clip there.

I've heard some people had the hanger's weld break, but haven't seen it on anyone that I know with this exhaust. Wonder if they have super stiff suspension or extra low cars that may cause it?

The problem is cheap chinese welds. I have seen way too many exhaust components made by the china clone companies bust in one way of another.

It's a off topic, but I'll post since weld issue came up. It's for you guys' safety too. Don't buy Megan RUCAs...

Saw that coming. I don't trust Megan products for anything. Only SPL suspension links will ever touch my car.

I only use Kazama and SPL for suspension arms. I wanted Ikeya Formula parts, but figured it's an overkill.

Back on topic, biggie's exhaust is good. Many people like them and I like the sound. It's on silbeer's s13 too. Even name brand exhaust hangers sometime break, so...

Yall will just hate my car then. Megan tension rods, no issues. (Pic below)

Have Touge Factory RUCAs that I still need to put on. But have Tanabe RUCAs on my coupe. SPL adj FLCAs to come on the coupe then the new PDM OEM FLCA w/ whiteline bushing to go on the Vert. Need some sways on the Vert sometime too, but have to find some that fit the exahaust in the rear.

I don't hate people who use Megan stuff I just refuse to put it on my car. The only Megan piece I ever had was a STB, but that's been replaced by Greg's triangulated unit (that totally came out wrong)

My issue with Megan componentry is the same beef I have with chinaman knock offs. They're hit or miss on quality. You can get something that will last the life of the car and do the job great, and then sometimes you get something that breaks before you ever get it mounted.

I can trust about anyone an certain items. The tension rods for instance are threaded and not any welding, so therefore is harder to screw them up. I really just can't afford everything I want (including some brands on items).

I wish I could afford everything I want too That's why I only replaced my TC bushings with Nismo hard rubber. Cheaper and I had access to a press to do it in.

Finally found a pic. I've seen that spoiler many times and I didn't care much about it cuz it's kinda low profile and nothing special. BUT, I changed my mind after I saw this pic. It looks gorgeous with bodykit.

Well it is OEM, its not supposed to be too special. Just something a little different.
