Well to no avail, I have searched here and found no answer, even on zilvia and general web searches. Where do I cut the hole in the dash exactly and where do I find the reflective tape for the projector. Any links to a write up or answers will be GREATLY appreciated.

I had a HUD, I ditched it a week after i got the car and put in a Analog ^_^

The reflective tape almost seems to be made into the windshield though i could be wrong. Mines still there haven't tried to hard to get rid of it yet.

As for cutting the hole, I would highly recommend you source a HUD dash. It will probably save you in the long run.

I'm just looking at it in the aspect of if you cut and mess up you still have to buy a new dash.

Though with luck and skill You might be able to pull it off.

AFAIK, it's not tape, but something molded into the glass.

They might make reflective tape, but I've never seen it.

As for cutting the hole, everyone I've seen do it, ended up having the dash crack shortly after.

They do make the reflective tape, but the whole nissan HUD thing has the tape incorporated into the windshield, costing you big bucks if you want one usually new. Good luck finding one used at a decent price also. I say screw the whole windshield-reflective tape-in-glass thing, and just use piece of tint or get the Chevy Corvette Reflective HUD tape for their windshields, which I would assume and have heard works just fine, along with using nothing at all (but using nothing at all blurs the readout a bit, making it harder to read during the daytime.) Thats what I have gathered as options about the display portion of the HUD to the windshield...
