  RB25 SCREAMER PIPE?


What exactly is a screamer pipe? i just started hearing alota fuss over this...is it like an external wastegate when opening up its hella loud or wat? lol sorry for the noob question..pics would be helpful!! thanks

its a divided o2 housing (aka turbo elbow) that seperates the wastegate gas from the turbine gas and dumps the wastegate gas to the atmosphere. This as you stated creates a loud screaming noise emitted from the wastegate. Hence the name screamer pipe, dump pipe, open wastegate pipe, etc.

550'ish hp + T3 flange turbine + 38mm wastegate = loud as hell
