I work at VW and we had a gti come in with really deep dish steelies, looked cool as ****, so i got to thinking that a 240 would look bangin with those, so I asked him how much did he pay, he said he only got them pushed in by a shop in Cali for 60 a rim, they just cut and reweld, so I'm wondering if anyone knows a shop around chicago illinois that does this???? so far I've only found three places that do it and the closest one is in michigan, anyone know where I can do this local???These are the siteshttp://www.weldcraftwheels.com/http://www.stoc ... heels.com/

These are what i mean...

There is company named Diamond Racing that made racing steel wheels with mad off set and size, like some 15'' X 10'' etc. Maybe they're made stronger than steelies cause they are made for race applications.

Looks okay I guess. I personally think steelies look like crap regardless, but those make it not as bad.

Ya i don't know why I like steelies for some reason...But i can see what you sayin, its just really if ya wanna go cheap look at all these selections ya can go with a ten inch rim with zero offset for bout 100 a rim....http://www.diamondracingwheels.com/WheelSeries.htm Now i wanna have like 8 inch or 7 inch with a good offset so its flush with a little or no roll...

Ya i checked them out too, but I really really like the diamond location and pricing, plus I wanna have a sleeper so i like stock looking more, i wanna send them a picture of steelies like in that picture with the money on the lip cause those are my fav, and see how much for like 15x8 with maybe 20 offset...

How much offset would be good for 8 inch rims so its flush maybe a bit sticking out??? Thats without spacers...

Just to make you guys about some 15 x10 with -38 offset rear and -20 front on a coupe with fender flare. They're black, don't see them that much but just to show the mad stance that s13 got now with theses bad boyz. It's not my car fyi.

Just have them send you a catalog, they have everything listed on how to select the size and offset you want and also the different styles too.

I went with a 45 degree taper as well, but if you do this you'll want to pick up some ARP studs in 12x1.5 because I've never seen a 45 degree taper lug for 12x1.25.

When you order from them you don't order by the 'offset' size, you order by the 'back space'.

Flush would be probably around 15X8 +20 or +15. To stick out, well, +10 and go lower.

I like the stocker looking ones that are under well stock, in their online catalog, and thats still too much for me, i just wanna get flush......and I'm sure they can just convert it to backspace...

Ima order a catalog tomorrow...
