In Alaska,I would NOT bypass stock in radiator heat exchangers,as you dont want the transmission fluid too cool....stock output from transmission pump{single line,should go to external filter,then split into 2 hoses that go to left and right side rad. upper cooler inlets.The left and right bottom rad cooler exits get rubber hoses that connect to hard line going back to transmissionlasoyafan wrote:Go ahead and get an external cooler, as it would save your transmission and be easier to install than trying to figure out where the lines go.
