RE-installing my radiator and the 4 rubber lines coming off the 2 transmission hard lines were not marked so im kinda confused where they go! can anyone help! Q45 TECH?? does the rht. side transmission line (where it splits into 2 rubber lines) go to the rht. side of radiator? i assume it doesnt matter if its top or bottom since the lines going in come out of the 2 ports on rght. side trnny. line?! same for line on drv. side?? thanks

Go ahead and get an external cooler, as it would save your transmission and be easier to install than trying to figure out where the lines go. Do a search to find previous topics on the subject.

In Alaska,I would NOT bypass stock in radiator heat exchangers,as you dont want the transmission fluid too cool....stock output from transmission pump{single line, should go to external filter, then split into 2 hoses that go to left and right side rad. upper cooler inlets. The left and right bottom rad cooler exits get rubber hoses that connect to hard line going back to transmission

Thanks for your response! If i understand you correctly....your saying the output line on transmission splits at the end by radiator and 2 rubber lines are attached there which go to the right and left upper inlets on the radiator. so all i need to know, if that is correct, is which side is the outlet line? the line coming out of drivers side of transmission or line from passenger side of transmission, the other one would obviously go to the right and left lower inlets on radiator. So the big question is which line is the output and which is input?? thanks

The tanks are separate, so one feed and one return to each tank.

I'll try to check later if flow is bottom to top like the radiator. I think it is top to bottom.
