I just got back from a performance shop, No Limit Motorsports in Medford, LI. I was a little worried about the condition of my engine so I had a leakdown test done, and if everything was good, I wanted to make a few passes on the dyno.

The dyno was a Dyno Dynamics AWD chassis dyno.

First, the leakdown test:

- He did the test right in front me, and he showed that with ~100 PSI in the combustion chamber at TDC, there was about 6-7% loss on all cylinders. I couldn't hear any leaks or air escaping from anywhere, and each time, we waited until equilibrium was met.

Second, the dyno:

- He made three pulls with a wideband, and the results were 212 WHP, with torque that was just a little under 210 ft*lb.

HP and TQ VS. RPM

HP and A/F VS. RPM

AS you can see, it's pretty lean under 3700, with a spike to about 15.4 at ~ 2700 RPM.

The power decreased about 5 WHP after every run, due to the SMIC.

Atmospheric condition:- 55 deg F- no rain

Car Specs:- stock S14 SR20DET at 9-10 PSI with 93 octane- turbo elbow, downpipe, testpipe- HKS Hi-Power 85mm exhaust- Exedy Stage 2 clutch- ACT prolite flywheel- Walbro 255 LPH fuel pump- NGK Iridium plugs (heat range 7)- brand new harness- SMIC- generic cone filter

Next up, I want to invest in a FMIC, bigger injectors, and a good tune.

I strongly reccomend No Limit Motorsports for your dyno needs on Long Island. The boss of the shop had an R33 Skyline putting out over 600 WHP.http://www.nolimitmotorsport.com/
