Your question is kind of an oxymoron.

How much do the wheels weigh?

I put 18" ones on my car and it killed the smooth ride, I can't imagine what 20" ones would do...I guess it is a different model but still I bet it would kill your ride.

Tire choice is a factor.

Thats very true. When I had 20's, the ride felt the same. The only time I would feel a slight difference is when hitting deep potholes.

Whats the width and offset of the wheels? I can't recomend you a tire size until I have that info. Also are you lowered?

thanks for your input ......but the title of the post is "2002 q45" after looking to the left I see you have a 91 q. thats 11 years of development. And a completely different car.so your comment is useless since the 2002 sport came with a 245/45/18 from the factory. And no it doesnt kill the ride to have a factory rim and factory tire that are tuned to a factory suspension.

what are your thoughts?

With the impul body kit, I need to upgrade to a larger rim/tire and have waived between the M's 19 and the fx 20.1. i thought the M's 19 had the wrong offset for the 2002 2. 19 in tires seem to be limited in choicses compared to the availability of 20's3. I need a finished diameter larger than the 255/45/18 that I currently have on the car. The front impule bumper scrapes TOOOO often. I figure I need to be around 28 inch diamiter.
