Hey guys,

Referencing here "http://www.nissanclub.com/forums/new-20 ... 2-5sl.html"

I would like to find a place to purchase the assemblies for my car, which is the 08' sedan 2.5SL. Didn't come with the integrated turn signals of course, would like to purchase them.

Read through the entire post referenced above and couldn't find them at the websites they specified.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,Mario

The sealership unless you can find some on ebay, which is highly unlikely.

It's a simple swap so you won't have to pay someone to install them for you.

Yep, best bet is the dealer. It would be easiest.

Or you can check the online Nissan dealerships such as Courtesyparts.com. You can always call around to save a few bucks.

While the dealer may be the easiest way to go, it IS NOT the cheapest! This is the website where i order all of my factory parts at wholesale price, not the dealer marked up price. Go to the dealer and get the part number and color code for your vehicle, then, call everthingnissan, confirm the part number, and purchase from them. You can do a price check in the process, but i gurantee everything nissan will be cheaper!

Because he has a sedan, I assume the likeliness of existing harnesses will greater. (sigh) Still want to do it, I'm just afraid it will be the same end result as the fog lights.

Anyhoo, I think the guys are right on with their posts.

Did you check http://www.courtesyparts.com?

I have two really good friends who work at different dealerships so I get my parts at their price. Even my oil filters too

I wondered the same thing, picked some up @ http://www.trademotion.com/par...00477Part numbers: 96301JB14E, 96301JA04C, 96302JB14E, 96302JA04C(the mirrors and then the covers for them=4 parts)you can read about it more on this forum: http://www.nissanclub.com/foru....html

They were about $280 free shipping and should just plug into the existing side mirror mounts, the turn signals and heated mirrors will work normally. Haven't installed mine yet, working on getting them painted... If you get them installed throw up some pics!!

Thank you SO much for the info, I am about to pull the trigger on this. As the other forum stated though, the Glass , Inner cover , Mirror assy, and Mirror cover are all needed. But since I am taking off the current mirror that is on there, is there any parts I do NOT need to purchase? Basically, to go from what I have, to the new assembly, what parts are required?

Thanks a bunch,Mario

That's it, the mirrors and the covers which will need to be painted. You just pop the cover off on the interior side of the mirrors, remove those three nuts, bolt on the new mirror and you're done.

Will there be wiring for the turn signal there for all models?

The link I posted to the other forum shows people with 2.5 sedans and coupe's with the working lights and heated mirrors. I believe it was '07 and forward.

So, it can't be done on an '06?I have heated mirrors, but I'd love the integrated turn signals as well.Would be nice.

The part numbers I listed are only for the 07-08's. Did any Altima's come with side markers in '06? I didn't think so... The only reason you can add the side markers and heated mirrors for the 07-08's is because they are wired the same from the factory, irregardless of the car actually having the blinkers or not.

How do you guys think it would look if I did this swap and instead of having the mirrors painted white to match my car I had them painted to match the black on my roof?

Since the plastic that connects the mirrors to the car is black plastic and my windows are dark *** tint, I think it would look good. It would look like one piece.

Mikemart: sorry, haven't gotten around to having the mirrors painted, some idiot punched (or something like that) right over my gas cap so I've been waiting for my body shop to get ahold of their PDR guys to evaluate how they'll fix it. Several users on the other forum were able to do this mod on the sedans and coupes without issue.

Pgthe:The wiring will be the same on all coupes and 07-08 sedans.

Is the wiring already there for a 2.5 A/c?

yes, just plug the new ones in and already to go. Signal, Heated and foldable. I live in Chicago so heated mirrors work great in wintertime

meh......im going to keep checking ebay everyday and checking at salvage yards.....its not winter time yet and i can deal without having integrated turn signals for the moment. but once november rolls around if i still havent found anything, then ill think about buying them new from an oem parts website and seeing if i can get them painted cheaply. i did remember one member, maybe not of this forum, saying that they found out the paint shop that their dealership works with (since dealerships dont do paint) and went to the shop and dropped off the covers and asked if they could just paint them the next time they had a job from the dealership that dealt with the same color. i think he ended up not having to pay anything since it took the paint guys like 3 mins to paint them and it didnt take any "labor" time since they already had the paint and tools out from the other job.
