Anyone ever install AC on their non-AC s13? How hard was it?

This is the only piece missing from my daily driver 240sx, and something I'd love to have during the summer.

Anyone do it before? Archives don't show much.

I second that. Anybody work as a tech at a nissan dealer? Are the part #s for the HVAC boxes the same? Is it just a matter of firing a evap, running lines, compressor and controls?

i imagine it would cost more than the car to put a a/c system in. just a guess. you would have to get a pro to vacuum out the system and charge with gas.

If you pulled everything from another 240sx, possibly a newer 240 with the new refridgerant so you can recharge it yourself easily.

Pull the compressor, the bracket from a ka24e that had AC, the condenser, all the lines, the dash heater controls, your fuse panel and relay box if I'm not mistaken already have the premarked AC sockets. Most likely the heater controls are already ready to accept the control unit, the harness should plug right in.... Theres 2 ports in the firewall already to run the lines.

I'm sure much more difficult installs have been done.
