as far as my research goes you do not have to shim it out, reason being, you're not changing the lift enough to where it will interfere with the pistonsr, unless your valves were ticking prior to the swap, in which case, yes you would want to.
also some additional info. I found, you CAN use the 95-98 cams, but you wouldn't want to anyways, they have a far shorter duration. neither can you use the 94 cam due to the change of the timing angle
91-93 exhaust opens 64 deg before BDC & closes 4 deg after TDC94 exhaust opens 60 deg before BDC & closes 8 deg after TDC
and last (but hopefully not least) the 96 altima cams have the same specs as the 91-93(the ones used) but for some reason it is said that they do not work, I haven't been able to get a hold of one so I personally dont know for sure but as soon as I get a hold of one I will do all the testing I can with it and post the results. hope this is helpful for you guys

p.s. I drove the car the next day after the lil' swap and it pulls AMAZING! cant wait to see how it pulls turboed<--hopefully by monday!!! fingers x-ed!!
