i have recently bent a tie rod on my dd s13...so i am pulling one off my parts car and im not sure how to get it off...i think that you unscrew it from where the ball joint is...but if someone could find a pic and show me it would be really helpful

if urs parts car and u don't care about messing up the boot for the ball joint get a pickle fork or a chizel and hammer it out the ball joint has a slit in it inside the fitting.

Are you replacing the inner tie rod/outer tie rod or both? The outer tie rod can be unscrewed around the middle where the washer is and the inner tie rod has a big nut with a locking spacer that needs to be removed.

The new inner tie rods come with a new locking spacer. You need to pry the old lock spacer off. I used a prybar and a set of pliers. I bent the edges up with the pliers and used a prybar to bend them back the rest of the way if I remember correctly. It comes off when you get the edges from around the big nut.
