Nice ride so far...I saw the short-ram, but I'm waiting for the cold-air. I have yet to have a true cold-air in a car.

I dont think so, difference in 2.0 2.0S and SL is package. Difference in your 2.0 with mine 2.0S is u dont have a power mirrors, Road computer or whats a name of that device which gives u a mileage and **** and key less entry, under the hood should b same, its look different coze they remove stock intake, u can c how much **** it was before i put SRI

Sorry for my English I'm just 2 yers in da US....

Do you have any power or MPG gains with this setup?

Ive found this unit for 165 online. Im interested if there is a true reason to have it.

Thanks.

does anyone know much about weapon r as a company, or more specifically about this secret weapon intake design? the concept of the dual tube velocity design is interesting to say the least, but is it worth the money? i'm trying to get in contact with them and see if they have something available for the spec v, or if they can produce something, so just wondering what everyone's overall opinions are.

Theoretically it makes plenty of sense. In fact, I'd wondered about such a setup myself, but don't have the tools or expertise necessary to experiment.

However, in actuality the increase in volume isn't going to be much in a non-turbo'd car simply because the initial volume of air isn't all that large. It reminds me of those bunko "vortex generator" commercials.

If it's the same price as other intakes, it probably isn't going to give you less power, so it might be interesting to get one and compare with another Spec V owner who has a different intake.

its a little bit more than other typical short rams, msrp is around $230 as compared to most others being between $120-$150 or so. they have them listed on sites like powerlabracing.com for $190 so not that much difference. i've started leaning more towards a short ram setup as opposed to a cai anyways, so if they have something for the spec v i might just have to try it out.
