I finally had time to install the clear bra on my car so I have driven it enough that I feel as though I can give my opinion on the TEIN S springs. I bought them from Jason at Riverside Infiniti—the service was *top notch.*

IMO, the springs are *very* close to stock ride—the feel is firm yet comfortable enough that I would even recommend them to someone who drives the M daily (I don’t). I would say that handling is slightly improved, but I don’t drive the car that hard—perhaps someone else would be better suited to evaluate them in that aspect. I had zero issues with fitment, no pops or creeks, and my overall experience has been positive. Would I buy them again? Yes, no doubt about it.

I took pics so that everyone could see the drop for themselves—hops this helps you guys.

Wheels are Asanti 132’s—not what I would have ordered, but I got a smokin’ deal. :D They came off a 05 M, so the offset isn’t ideal, but it works…..for now.

Front: 20x8.5 +38 on 245/35/20 Bridgestones

Rear: 20x10.5 +43 on 275/30/20 Bridgestones

Just after, before settling:

AFTER about 1K:Front:

Random after shots—my only other future plans are to change the wheels, install some mild audio upgrades, upgrade the fogs to HID, and change the headliner to charcoal(undecided on material).

Here's the interior for those wondering--took me 18 months to find it.

WOW!!! Very clean car! So, how low do you think the teins are based on your measurments? From what I see it looks like 1/2 of an inch drop. Very modest drop. I like the idea of taking a measuring tape and putting it against the fender. I'll probably do the same against mine to see the difference in the tein vs. eibach. good job and I love the white w/black guts No one can beat that birds eye wood against that black leather.

Cakedaddy, I would say thatis just shy of an inch. It is perfect for my needs--no scrubs, no alignment issues, and just enough to remove the donk look with the 20's.

vzuptnguyen, it is definitely a hard combo to come by. I spent 18 months searching for the right car. You can find them, but they are either beat to sh*t, high mileage, or simply poorly cared for. I paid 22,980 for the car, but it is in very good shape. I own/operate a detail shop in memphis, so it was a little easier for me to recondition it to my standards. :D Really, the only areas that needed "real" reconditioning were the wheel well areas and the marring/swirls in the paint--the interior was perfect.

I think it is the wheels....for some reason the back looks way better because it has a deep lip...but the front makes it look like it has a very small drop. But the back looks sick...get some deep dishes

Looking good! Very "clean".

If you guys get me the part # for the springs I'm sure I can get them for you.

Sweet looking M you got there.

Based on those pics I think the m45 spring/lowering issue has now been resolved for everyone, other than maybe justin timberlakes little brother, I am totally satisfied by those pics and the car looks plenty low.
