I bought the vert back in Dec, and I'm now finally getting the car running.I dropped the car off at 786 motoring (http://786motoring.com/) here in houston to get the s13 blacktop installed. We got it running last night so we took it out for a test run this afternoon.

Cool Vert! What brand of wide body parts did you go with and how wide? are you planning to get side skirts and a rear bumper too? also what size wheels and offset are you running? looks like a perfect fit for that wide body kit.

I would like to know what you a running on all around, wheel size, offset and tire size. and what mods did you need to do to get them to fit, and if it rubs or any thing like that. ohh and did you lower it or does look like that with the 18's on? thanks man. Ride is awsome.

Thanks guys!

I'm running a Origin overfenders front and back.I'm installing my body kit this week, also Origin (streamline)

The wheels are Work VSXXfront 18x10 +12 offsetRear 18x12 +12 offset

No spacers and no rubbing. I do have some control arms to straighten out the rear camber.

I'm running K-sport coilovers =( I know they'll blow out some day, but I've had them for 3 years now and they're still working.

The Sparco seats go in this week, and it's getting painted black.

Very impressive car!

I'm always so amazed by how a set of wheels can just MAKE a car! Especially on a 'vert. Those wheels are incredible! (prob cost more than you paid for the car originally..lol).

Pretty nice looking body kit.. gotta love the widebody!

Thanks man, yea wheels and a drop changes a car drastically, and yes the wheels were more than the car is worth even with the motor. lol

I got the vert for $800 without a motor.

I'll look up all the info on the vert and update the post I made on that thread.

i love this picture!

i don't know why, but i'm really excited about the progess on this car... it might have something to do with looking a lot like my teammate zach's car as it was multi-colored for a while and when it finally came together and was one color, it just felt great to see it "finished"...

anyways, i'm loving everything about this car - especially the wheels gorgeous.

keep up the great work and definitely keep us posted with more pictures.

Hey what's up guys! Well I sold my Origin kit and got a BN knock off kit.I figure I'm gonna bust it up drifting so I might as well not tear up some nice stuff.

Haven't taken many new pix, but I did get the kit in, haven't installed it.Might get it done this week. Sold my Sparco's and got a Bride Zeta III Type-L seat. Man those seats run super small. Also got a new top, it's soo nice and clean looking. I'll take a pic with the top up as well. Oh and upgraded to a T-28. Haven't run the car with the T-28.

And I guess I haven't posted my chain steering wheel for hard parking. It's probably gonna kill these guys:http://jdmasia.wordpress.com/2...hings/(Kinda cool, never been clowned from a whole other country, woot!)

Here's a couple of me messing around:

Already broke the fender (fixing this week):

i normally hate widebody anything, but the whole setup and execution of that car with those wheels is amazing. it looks hot. the only thing better would be a Silvia front end. :

Haha wow...those Aussies getting worked up over a shift knob.

BTW nice shots! Not often you see a vert tearing it up at the track. Good stuff.

I thought about the Sil front but then I figured I'd end up smashing it up. So decided to go with the easiest thing to fix after crashing. So far, so good. No real crashes.

The venue in those pix is death for drift cars. When I hold drivers meetings at that venue, I tell the drivers one of you is going to crash today. So get it over with, so my odds lower. We've probably had more than 25 events at that venue with a 100% crash rate. At least one car crashes every event.

I'll try and get pix this week with the new kit. My goal is to get it painted before the May11th event.
