I think you'll be happy with it. I think I need to get some nice front tension rods to complement it.

Got it! Just installed it at the auto hobby shop on base, man do I love those 4 point lifts! makes working underneath your car so much easier! And those impact guns, man they're great to work with, took off those bolts in a second. Anyways, back on the subject. It wasn't as hard as I thought it was gonna be to install on the S14. The only annoyance of the install is that the bolts that came with it were a little bigger than my biggest drill bit, just gotta make sure you drill your hole centered. The install was also complemented by a TEIN strut bar, which had an L on both of the bases where it bolts on to the car (it fits but it also interferes when the hood is closing) gonna call em about that. Oh and it fit like a glove! except for that one piece that had trouble going in because I bent the tension arm a tad when I put my foot on top of if to hold it while I drilled the hole. (my bad) Definetly feel the difference when turning, feels stiffer. I decided to keep it flat black. EDIT: I took a better picture to replace the crummy one that was on here before. This is how it looks installed:
Is this brace supposed to be painted?

Awesome! Yes if you have access to a lift, it makes it so much easier. Glad you got it all installed, looks good. The brace is painted with Rustolium Hard Hat...their industrial division, so it should be good.

Got it! I'm at work so i must be brief with my "review." First thing i noticed was the car felt smoother! Even my GF commented on how much smoother the car felt. It doesn't seem to road steer as much and turn in is less labored for sure. I haven't been able to really put it to the test yet but so far, i am really floored by the overall quality, craftsmanship and performance. Thanks Jonnie, it was well worth the wait!

Anyone running an aftermarket swaybar with their S14 brace? I noticed that my stock one is pretty close to the brace... I don't know how much fatter aftermarket ones are.

my aftermarket sway bar is only about a 1/4 inch bigger in over all diameter. so it shouldnt be a problem.

Yep $95.00 plus shipping. The S14 one is much more involved than the S13 model, but I only charge a little more for it.

Did you ever install yours? was your aftermarket sway bar a problem? I know you said it shouldn't be a problem, but I've learned not to assume anything.

I recived my brace yesterday and installed it today. I also own the Nismo power brace and was going to try and compare the two but after seeing them side by side there are differences in the design that make that impossible. Jonnies brace is a little more heavy duty than the nismo brace and his cross bar is a little thicker. The welds on Jonnies brace are really nice and far superior to anything Nismo. It comes down to Bolts vs welds ... and thats up to you. My install took all the material mentioned plus a rubber malet and a C clamp to get it done. time from lifting the car to backing it out was about 45 minutes. The brace is a tight fit and when the the front of the car was in the air i had zero room next to the sway bar. once the car was back on the ground i have about a 3 inch space between the brace and the sway bar. I don't think an aftermarket sway bar will be an issue sor the S13 brace. I installed it on my daily s13 which is stock except for drop springs. I didnt have a chace to drive it much today because it was raining pretty bad. I am not sure if I noticed better handling or if i was just willing to drive more spirited because it was there. I will give a good go at it tomorrow (weather permiting) and give an update on that aspect. If I had to do it again I would. The price was right for my budget and to me it is a nice alternative to the Nismo Brace or any other aftermarket tension rod brace for that matter.
