Hey Guys, Fairly new to the site, but I have read through your chat threads about modding my new '07 G35 Journey and I'm curious about your thoughts on the Fujita short Ram Intake... I have done a little homework and found that there are very limited options for modifying the '07 sedan since Infiniti changed to the dual intakes. I shopped the Stillen CRI and thought it would blend seemlessly under the hood, but lacked that "modified look"... not to mention the cost was about double the Fujita Short Ram... I do live in the desert so we have some pretty high temperatures (118 Degrees in Summer)... should I have any concerns that all of that HOT air could potentially cause undue wear with a Short Ram as opposed to a CAI? Iterested to hear your thoughts... Any guys in the valley who have dealt with the sweltering heat here, please chime in... Any advice on installation?

Thanks,

I know that Stillen is the preferred manufacturer and sponsor of the website... did you get the CRI or Short Ram? I've been shopping for a couple weeks now and just found the Fujita on Ebay for $275.00... I went ahead and bought it, cause it looked pretty hot and sounds like a charm... are you installing yourself? Good luck & Happy "G-ing"!

haha ya that works i just prefer the sleeper look type of thing. i was all about crome pipes and w.e else with 2 of my previous cars toyota camry ha dont laugh and before that my wrx hence suby01. but ya i did talk to my dealer and they said that they will install it for me at no cost with no problem. but if youve read my previous post below about dealer+car damage im not letting them touch it unless they really have to. so aka im doing it myself. ya and i called stillen and they told me 9hp at that flywheel so when i googles how to calculate flywheel hp to wheel hp its anywhere from 10-20% difference so even subtract 20% from 9 and comes out to about 7 whp. which isnt all that bad i guess. but ya. will keep you updated once it comes it. and you do that same.

Hi.Just had the Fujita installed at the Dealer yesterday.I have to admit it looks & sounds better than Stillen's. I'd give it a shot. I had the Stillen on my '03 Sedan, but now with my 2 month old '07 S, I wanted a change, & I like it better than the Stillen. You won't be sorry.Let me know what you decide.

Just received the Fujita last night from UPS and couldn't wait a second to install... wasn't too hard to install however the 4 or 5 beers I consumed while installing hindered my ability to hold on to all of the small nuts and bolts... however I digress... Finally got her put in and shined up around 11 last night but was too tired to take her for a run... not to mention, I don't drive after drinking... On the way to work this morning, I was thoroughly impressed with the throaty growl and noticable throttle response increase... will post pics when I get home tonight on this thread... Thanks for the advice...

Has anyone installed the Fujita single intake on a 03-06?

I've been looking at one as an alternative to the JWT popcharger. According to a dyno of a stock 03 350z the single Fujita short ram got a HP increase of 10HP at the wheels. Sound suss?
