My front marker and head lights work but the only thing that works in the back is the brake light. Now I have a diagram that is suppose to be of the electrical system but I cant seem to find a stop and tail light sensor that is suppose to be between the tail light and the stop lamp switch. I have my car torn apart and I cant seem to locate it.

It's right below the trunk latch. Take off the long plastic piece above the latch and remove all the screws holding the rear trim piece in place. With the trim removed you'll see the sensor .

.

The one I'm holding off my 91 parts car is green with an 8 pin receptacle. Made by Niles Japan. It's for sale cheap if you need it. Thanks for the compliment on my Q. It rides as nice as it looks.

Check for ground on the tail lights and or your fuses. See if you can use a tester and see if you are missing + or -

Were you repairing something else (interior bulbs) when the tail lights stopped working? Are you getting the "STOP LAMP INOPERATIVE" message on the odometer display? Sounds fishy that neither stop lamp sensor is working.

In the engine compartment fuse box, take a closer look at the 3rd and 4th fuse trom the top in the middle row of standard fuses. You need to measure continuity with a voltmeter to verify that these two fuses are working. Don't rely on visual inspection unless you're looking at them with a magnifying glass.

I'll email you about the sensor.

I sprayed my engine with water:( none of the electrical things in my q45 worked...as far as radio i ran a wire straight from the battery to the back of the radio, and i changed all fuses in the car to new ones.....i have some electrical back except the dash dimmer so at night i cannot see how fast i am going and such..
