thought i'd share.. workin on a project

anyways so last summer I learned how to make fire using on sticks and stones in the Blue Ridge forest in North Georgia. 50% is preparing a good kit, %40 is skill and practice, %10 is luck... at least I always feel lucky even now that I"m proficient and can get a flame every time.

you gotta get everything setup and then spent about 60-120seconds drilling experimenting with different down pressures and speeds... fun

then fire!

Cool. Looks like a lot of work. I'll give you a match if you need. Hell, I'll give you a lighter.

Really though, that is cool.

or a flame thrower. $12 from harbor freight and its so much more fun than the wood bow method. not quite as rewarding though.
