stupid engine question

alright i have a 91 240sx and im trying to put another motor in it. intec racing has a motor for me for 500 its a 95 and they said it would go right in. can anyone confirm that for me if a 95 would fit into a 91?

and has anyone heard of intec racing are they good?

i have a 91' and wanted to put a 95' in it as well....i searched and searched on nico for strait answers..but didnt find very many.....i finally figured it out and finished my swap which runs perfect... just finished a week ago:bigthumb heres the easiest way to go:your going to use the entire 91' intake and exaust manifolds and put them on your 95' block.

you'll need to use your complete 91' distibutor on the the 95' block (because the 95' dizzy is different.

also, to make things easer you will want to ust your 91' power steering pump. because the hose fittings one on the 95' ps pump are in a different direction than the 91'......every thing else is plug and playok thats all i can remember rite now and if you have any Q's shoot me and email......hope this answers everything good luck

I heard from a few different people that depending on the year the car was produced you dont have to change the intake manifold. I have a 95ka that the car was produced in july of 94. As far as im aware i dont have to change the intake manifold. Only the dizzy has to be changed and my 93 hicas p/s pump can bolt right up. I'm also gonna be putting my s13 cams in the s14 motor. Is any of this true?

Could you have gotten away without changing the intake manifold and it work properly?

its guna require moding decause the intake mani's are different one has more sencers then the other......do it how you want man...i told you the way i did mine and every thing was pimple and car runs perfect......im outa this thread c ya

i have a 96 motor now in my 92 i just got done putting it together and i kept the upper intake manifold from the 96 and used the lower half off of my 92 because the car is OB1 and the engine is OB2. i kept upper manifold from the 96 engine because it did not have the butterfly switch on it like the 92 engine had and it works fine. I also changed the distributor from the 92 into the 96. and basically kept everything else the same. the transmission bolted up find to the 96 motor. hope this helps and goodluck.
