I just got word from Mike at JIC that this is available, but they will need $500 for the core charge for the spindles, apparently they will need to special order from Japan and they will need to know the type of spindles that are on the Y34 M (03-04). The whole process takes approx 8 weeks. So, it sounds like the front JIC setup will come with an entirely new spindle setup from Japan. Total cost is somewhere near $2100 and that doesn't include labor.http://www.jic-magic.com/ViewP...ChartFLT-A2 VIP Luxury Vehicle Coilover

Who's ready?

If I pull this off I'll sell my Eibachs

yeah but those are for the y34 cedric/gloria with the v6 turbo, arent they? there are about a dozen or so just like this but spring rates and dampening specs are not up to par with our heavier v8s

He was well aware that this was an American y34 Infiniti 2003-2004 M and made mention of the Glo/Ced car in Japan and thats when he began talking to me about the spring rate. Also, custom spring rate are optional, but it comes with 9kilo fro the front and 7kilo for the rear. So, if this rate doesn't suit you; they can make a custom spring rate for you.

I'd sure love to have some kind of air ride system to where you could lower it or raise it with a button.

I think someone on here had it on their 06 M.

Airrunner, Bold World and Universal Air make kits for our cars, this in my opinion is the way to go as you can adjust to whatever height you want and then slam it to the ground when parked

well, like I said earlier. They can make the spring rate whatever you'd like. I'm not sure what an acceptable spring rate is for or Y34 M's, but I'll find out.

Since your already talking with someone there, find out what kit the Q45 F50 is using as far as spring rates, these two kits should be the close to the same, if not identical

Airbags are cool, but have you ever had airbags on an everyday car?? They seem to me one of the worst handling and worst feeling rides ever. I think they were orginally developed for shows and not everyday use. Maybe be they have improved them...but that is something to think about. They look cool going up and down in the parking lot...but for long term relability and performance for everyday use...i am not sure

Im pretty sure they have changed alot over the years. Look at all the top performance luxury cars, they are all starting to use or have been using air bag suspension setups. There has to be some advantages to using air over the conventional spring setups.

whoever says the y34 v6 turbo spring is not acceptable on our m45 is bull****

the v6t y34 weight 3750 lbs, and our m45 weight 3800like 50lbs is going to make any difference at all ..... if u think so then get ur fat azz on a diet
