Lol @ price. Don't buy the one with the body damage, it would be easier to do

the 5spd swap than to repair that. I'd hardly say the damage is "minor to moderate"

id go for the auto. Sure its only $100 cheaper, but its got no damage, its bone stock, and its got good milage. 5 speed swap + that =

I'm with bt2s14 with this one. I rather buy a auto, that has low millage and is bone stock than a modified car. You never know what the previous owner did with that car thats damaged in the quarter panel (drifto?) I would buy the auto one and doesn't looks like you need to do any major maintaince to it.

haha yeah, the rear panel would cost about 300 if i did it myself, and who knows how much it would cost to get it tooken to the shop to get it repaired..

well im planning on getting an sr swap down the road, so should i convert the current engine (KA24E) with a manny transmission, or just buy a new black top sr20 then swap the transmission to manny..?

both are not even worth more than $2000. Hope you make the right decision that you wont regret.

Note: My quarter panel is about twice and big and three times deeper (it reaches behind the wheel). I got quoted $3500 and I told them that it isnt deep (kind of lied).

ohh, lol really? i'll try and offer lower on both of them

but on the first one he sid that there isnt any damage to the frame, haha he told me he got tired of the drift scene and tires were costing him to much, so he prolly got it by drifting into something.

As long as the auto is in decent shape, I'd leave it until you do the whole swap.

A complete motorset will come with trans, ecu etc. all you should need is the pedals, m/c etc.

yeah, but im better off just buyin a manual transmission for now and just selling it when i have enough for an sr, atm i have about $1000 to spend on parts, and a sr is about $1,800 PLUS like $2,000 for shipping and handling, thats the only thing that kills me!

what you think i should do

why would you even consider the one with 1/4 panel damage, that is $$$ to repair, and for $2500 that's a rip.

i fail to see your logic... they both seem really really overpriced, especially for the one with damage... i found a 5 speed hatch for 3 grand, bone stock but clean.... i feel i over paid

but why on earth would you pay for a ka 5 speed transmission....

and then do an SR swap? you'll only lose money on that one..... just swap it all at once, if u cant live with a auto till u get an sr, just look for a different car....

just my .02

note: this thread has some of the worst grammer ive seen in a while

not going to continue with that though
