Well I finally got a chance to do my spring/summer upgrades. All that is left is for me to remove the abs actuator (not working for some reason), put my z32 brakes on, replace a cracked tailight, and install the engine prelubrication thingy majiggy. The suspension is JIC Magic SF-1, the wheels are kosei k1 16 x 7.5 +32 with 225/50R16 Kumho ecsta mx tires. I also installed megan ruca's. Handles like a dream compared to stock, and it really isn't as rough a ride as I was expecting it to be.

Those rims look really good with the car, as well as the drop. Get the roof painted black, get kouki tails, and youl be set as far as looks go.

Yep, it is my one and only DD. I am going to go out to a couple of local track days over the summer and really try and push it. No drifting though.

I was planning on painting the roof a nice gloss black this weekend if the weather holds out. The 4 day weekend gives me alot of time to fix up my screw ups that I am bound to make

Nice Kosei's!

Be careful with that prelube thingy. It can be tricky...

ABS actuator? Is that a HICAS model?? What were the symptoms of the actuator going bad??

Yeah, I have put off installing it because I didn't want to do a rush job over the winter when I was freezing my tits off. Also, I wanted to put it where my ABS pump is right now and I was waiting to take that out when I did my Z32 brakes.

I just meant the stupid pump thing at the top of the firewall on the passengers side. The symptoms of it going bad were it stayed on constantly even when the car was off, and it drained my battery. I unplugged it and went on my merry way.

I paid $725 CAD for the shocks, and $625 CAD for the rims. The tires were like $110 CAD each, so I guess that works out to about 1800 CAD or around 1550 USD.

Very clean buddy! Looking really good.

Was hoping to see my springs on there, but I remembered you said you sold them.

Yeah, I didn't even remove them from the box. It was taped up so nicely, I just thought I would leave it be. I think I lost 5 bucks on them or something because it cost an arm and a leg to ship them to the states. If you want to see the springs in action, you will have to bug jmwenick for pictures

They are amazing. The car is like night and day. I can take 90 degree right hand turns at almost 50 no problem. I didn't want to push it any faster because the my street that I turn into narrow, so I really don't want to take it any faster. I need some open twisty roads to experiment on.

I was thinking about lowering it some more, but right now it is just right. I haven't scraped it anywhere, even going into and out of steep driveways. I also only have adjustable ruca's now, so I don't want to lower it too far and completely mess with the suspension geometry.

I am really happy that it came without the stupid little spoiler. I really hate how nissan/infiniti decides to randomly toss it on cars. I think it ruins the sexy lines of the hatch. Just like the spoiler on the g35
