Whoot, I did work today too, not as extensive as yours, but yea.

Yours is hot! I have a Black on Black Hatch as well, you make me want to go sil80, and take that to heart, I don't like Sil80's. Hehe.

Was it hard to tuck the wires!? And you're running Stock fenders right, Silvia yes, but stock? I would just like to know because I want to do a wire tuck, it has a huge effect.

Great work!!

dude honestly it was cake! other than the crazy winds and not having a garge but it was alot of fun.... they are widebody in the front... im really not to happy with them. i had to use washers on the fenders so they wouldnt hit my doors. it was really frustrating considering it was freezing cold i read a mag that had a diy on tucking wires and it said to drill holes for the harnesses but the 240 has perfect sized holes on each side for them.... i say do it and keep us posted!!!

Cool deal, now did you have to cut, sauder (Saw- Durr) and extend the wires or could you just pull them through the exhisting holes? I know the 240 is good for wire tuck, not so much worried about that, hehe. What I am worried about is how the wires will work with stock fenders, the only 2 cars that I have seen, that have had wires tucked behind the fenders, have had wide fenders, so I am not sure of the fitment with them.

What mag had the DIY, still have it ? Heh.

And well its nice here in Chicago, broke 2 records for warmth in 2 days, and I have a garage that I can work in so the only "problems" that you had, I do not have to worry about, hehe.

actually u made have read about that vert on this site that was on the cover of modified i think..... but it was in that.. the pic of the white vert on this page has stock fenders and his fit more than fine. could have fit my wires and his under there i am a car audio installer and have been for 3 years now... soldering all the wires is honestly a waste of time and money... i used butt connectors and tapped em up... but also just as honest if u have the time and a garage ( i really wish i had one anyone wanna sell theres? ) then solder and heat shrink will be your best way to go

So you cut your plug which I believe is an interlock relay (2 grey plugs going into a blue relay) and your brown plug? Thats a lot of work.

it was only like 8 wires that i cut and the two grey's going into the blue relay box i was able to unplug and just pull in the fender. the actual tuck was only about 45 min. pulling everything off and putting back on took some time...

ya soldier who thought of spelling it like that in the first place... i use it everyday on alarm installs and have never read the wording on it
