Cruise Control is not Arming

OKay... new prob.. On the 95Q like almost any other Q i know. U have a cruise control button to the left of the steering wheel. Thats to turn the cruise control on and off. On the steering wheel, there are buttons, these buttons are used to set, increase speed, decrese speed and cancel the cruise. Welll, Once u set the cruise at the speed u want, there is a little green light on the dash that comes on to let u know that u are cruising...... I DONT GET THAT LIGHT ANYMORE!! my car wont cruise PERIOD.! I can turn on and turn off the cruise control, but i cannot set it. What in the world is going on?? I havent done anything yet or checked anythign yet.. because i dont know what can be causeing the crazy thing to not work.

The captain is right. It could be something as simple as the blue relay in the engine compartment fuse box. Try swapping it with another blue relay (AC relay) that you can live without for a few minutes while you do a test drive. All the blue relays in the car function the same. Good luck.

just got through changing em... i switched it with the A/C Fan one.. and drove down the way and it wouldnt arm. But aC blowed cool.

You can rule out the relay.

i had this happen once, i unplugged the battery overnight and it fixed it...

Does the light ever start blinking?

it did at one point in time before it stopped arming.. Now it just doesnt arm. But the cruise light (THE ON /OFF BUTTON) stays on. when i turn it on, and off when i hit off.! but in the speedometer, i get nothing.!

well its not going to be a really easy fix at this point I dont think. I had a similar issue and it was the stop lamp switch.

It may be easiest to take it to the dealer so they can hook it up to the consult and quickly determine what is wrong.
