I was installing Nismo power brace yesterday and got confused. Torque spec from FSM is 29-36, but installation guide that came with power brace says 80-94. I don't think the bolts can take 80-94lb torque. I set my torque wrench to 80 and kinda tried, but stopped it cuz I felt like I was going to break the bolt. I just set it to 36lb and finished installation. I think it could be a mistake by Nismo. Anyone who's installed power brace realized this?

Did the Nismo brace come with new bolts and hardware or are you supposed to reuse the stockers? If you're reusing the stock bolts, i think you made the right call by backing off at 36ftlbs, but who knows for sure...

I've gotta buy that brace soon. I just noticed yesterday, while replacing my ball joints, that my passenger side tension rod bracket is cracking slightly in two places.

No, it didn't come with new bolts. Looks like they made a mistake. Toque is ridiculously high in the installation manual. Anyway, I installed Kazama tension rods at the same time and front is very stiff. There's no nose dive when I hit the break and car feels very controlled. I love it!!!

I used their torque specs and everything went fine for me even reusing the bolts. the 80-94 is only for the big 4 main bolts. they can take it.
