im purchasing an rb25 neo and when i get it i'd like to prep it for some decent hp. What will i need to invest in to bounce my boost up but still be reliable? you guys have more experience than me but my guess is just a new head gasket and some apr studs? let me know im on a budget at the moment please help thanks

Get that thing in there and running right first! Give it a few thousand miles and then start with a boost controller and give it just a little bit the neo's have a little but not allot.

The Neo is already 280ps, (about 276hp). And the turbos are a lot better than the previous 25 turbos, so a slight increase in boost pressure will not hurt the engine to much. I figure you could relably run 12-14 psi on that turbo, but that is just speculation.

I'm a strong advocate for just getting it in there and running properly. Get the bugs worked out first, then work on upgrades.
